French Drum lampshades are a slightly tapered shade, the shade size if referred to by the bottom ring diameter. Generally speaking, the top ring diameter on an empire is 5cm smaller than the bottom ring. The larger 50cm diameter and above French drum shades have slightly more difference between the ring sizes. Our French drum shades are photographed in a 25cm diameter however depending on the diameter and height of the lampshade you require this may change the visual shape of the shade slightly.
