Our tall french drum lampshades are a modern take on a traditional tapered shade. The lampshade size if referred to as the bottom ring diameter and  generally speaking the top ring diameter on a tall french lampshade is 5cm smaller than the bottom ring. The larger 50cm diameter has slightly more difference between the ring sizes.
